restaurant menu QR code

A new menu shouldn’t mean new table cards.

Prices change. Specials sell out. Your table cards can stay. Start with a PDF menu QR, then use an editable code when your menu needs regular updates.

Upload the PDF menu you hand to guests, or paste the link to the menu page you already publish.

One editable QR over time

Table menu → lunch-menu.pdf → summer-menu.pdf

A workflow for restaurants & cafés.

01

Make the menu easy to read

Export a PDF with selectable text, readable prices and a small file size. Open it on a phone before uploading. A full print brochure may be too awkward for a guest at a table.

02

Place the QR where guests can reach it

Use a high-contrast table card with a clear label such as ‘View our menu’. Keep the empty border around the code. Test under the restaurant’s actual lighting.

03

Keep one destination for each menu

Create separate editable codes for lunch, drinks and takeaway if they change independently. Upload each new PDF, then select it as the destination of the matching code in your workspace.

Before you print

  • Confirm prices, dietary labels and opening hours before publishing.
  • Keep a printed or accessible alternative for guests who cannot scan.
  • Test with mobile data, not just the restaurant’s Wi-Fi.
  • Do not delete the old file until you have changed and tested the editable QR.

Can I replace my menu PDF without changing the QR?

Yes, if you created an editable QR in the paid workspace before printing it. Upload the revised PDF and edit that code’s destination. A static QR pointing directly to an uploaded PDF keeps its original link.
